We are a MSSP (Managed Security Service Provider) involve in network design, implementation, management and maintenance, network & security services. A multi vendors solution integrator currently looking for suitable candidates who are interested to be part of our expansion exercise to fill the following positions;
Base : Petaling Jaya / Kuala Lumpur
Description: Network Technical Specialist
Job Description:
• Project management and implementation on Managed Security Services and others
• Provide customer support and maintenance on the above services.
• Troubleshoot and provide recovery solution.
• Handle customer escalation and follow up with management update accordingly
• Create root-cause documentation for resolved escalations and propose actionable recommendations on how to avoid future instances from occurring.
• Assist Level 1 or Level 2 engineers if required
• Liaise with other vendors on implementation and technical issues
Successful Applicants:
• Candidate must possess a Degree in Science/Information Technology or equivalent; experience may be substituted for educational requirements (5 years minimum)
• Fortinet or Cisco certification will be an added advantage(s)
• Good communication skills (both oral and written)
• Minimum 3 years of relevant IT experience in deploying enterprise level network and systems infrastructure.
• Experience in network security, WAN/MAN/LAN IP technology
• 2-4 years experience and background in managing and administering Firewall , IDS/IPS, content-filtering gateway(HTTP), anti-spam(SMTP)
• Knowledge of VPN technologies.
• Good understanding of firewall technologies.
• Experience in deployment, implementation and managing network devices such as Cisco, Juniper, F5, IP layer 3-switch, router, firewall, etc.
• Good abstract thinking and problem solving skills, able to work and communicate with all levels
• Mature and positive attitude; strong sense of quality and responsibility; able to work well in a fast-paced, multi-cultured dynamic environment
• Able to work long hours and under pressure.
• To perform network troubleshooting for customers onsite or remotely
• Possess own transport and willing to travel
